Scrumkids Education
The ScrumKids Education Programme has been specifically designed for schools with a view to developing high quality physical education.
Our Educational Officers are required to demonstrate sports coaching qualifications as well as educational experience to ensure schools receive the highest quality sessions both for students and staff.
Whilst rugby is ScrumKids’ specialist sport, our curriculum based sessions include a wide variety of activities and sports to ensure children get the most out of sessions and develop a range of skills.
We tailor sessions for each school’s requirements and have vast experience working with different ages, abilities and learning environments. Many schools are in desperate need of sporting development for their EYFS provisions, something that sets us apart from other sporting organisations. We specialise in early development and have a wealth of experience when it comes to developing curriculums for the youngest members of our school communities.
We have the ability to run classes from Nursery age (minimum 2 years) right up to KS2 focusing on these areas:

School Clubs
ScrumKids rugby clubs have proved to be very popular with the schools we are already engaged with. Our rugby clubs are built around engagement with the sport, developing core rugby skills and competition.
Similar to our curriculum planning KS1 clubs vary in style to KS2 clubs and in many schools we offer both, allowing parents to see the progression. In the past we have even arranged fixtures against other schools creating a sense of a ‘school rugby team’.
Clubs can be a lunchtime provision or after school. We create a unique booking link to go out on club letters/school newsletters so the school has no concern over booking issues, it’s something we can control, if that is preferable.
