    Welcome to ScrumKids Plymouth!
    The home of rugby for children aged between two and eight years old!
    Saturday Mornings, Lipson Co-operative Academy, Age 2 - 8 Years

    ScrumKids has developed a reputation for being creative and passionate about what we do. At our classes, kids are given the opportunity to learn and develop new skills, feel part of a team and go home feeling like they have achieved at every single session. No class is ever the same and everyone is given the opportunity to shine in a fun, safe and relaxed environment.

    Our coaches are the very best and this is showcased from the minute children enter our highly-energetic, fast-paced, engaging sessions to the minute they leave with smiles on their faces and ‘well-played stickers’ on their chests!

    Scrum Kids Toddlers

    Scrum Toddlers (2 to 3.5 Years)
    Saturday 9.00am

    Scrum Toddlers is for our very youngest rugby stars, aged between two and three years old. Sessions are shortened to 30 mins to get the most out of fleeting attention spans and children use soft balls to learn the basic techniques for handling and kicking!

    Scrum Kids Juniors

    Scrum Juniors (3.5 to 5 Years)
    Saturday 9.35am

    Scrum Juniors is for children aged between three and four years old, who are ready for a further challenge! Sessions are 40 mins long and the children use our specially designed size 2.5 unique ScrumKids balls to develop and showcase their skills.

    Scrum Seniors (5 to 7 Years)
    Saturday 10.20am

    Scrum Seniors is for the oldest of our children and we take them from four years old and above. At the age of seven we try to engage the children with local rugby clubs wherever possible to send them on the next stage in their rugby journey in a team environment.

    Coach Lachan

    Lachan’s session is held at Lipson School, Plymouth on their outdoor all-weather pitches through the Spring and Summer months, however from October to March we move indoors to the site's gigantic sports hall. Trainers and clothes that children are comfortable moving in are all that is required…and a smile of course!

    Coach Lachan lives and breathes the game of rugby! Whether it be playing, during his Wasps academy days plying his trade at full back, or coaching mini and junior rugby in his native Coventry. We are lucky to have a man of his expertise and infectous energy.  If you are looking for an inspirational coach that really knows what he's talking about... Lachan is your man!
